Why the MA1 Series
Easy to Learn
Run it with a 7″ touchscreen and built-in presets for every material and thickness. Both seasoned pros and first-timers are laying quality beads fast.
The Industry's Lightest Torch
At just 680 g (1.5 lb), the MA1 torch is built for long days with less hand fatigue. A built-in wobble function delivers weld widths up to 4.0 mm for smooth, even seams.
Weld More Materials
Stainless, galvanized, mild steel, aluminum, nickel alloys, and titanium — up to 6.5 mm. Low heat input means minimal warping and distortion on your parts.
Cleaner Welds, Less Rework
The MA1 lays down strong, good-looking seams that typically need little to no post-weld cleanup, saving you a step and improving the finished product.
Up to 80% Energy Savings
Single-mode fiber technology concentrates energy for high-speed welding without drawing excessive power.
Air-Cooled, No Chiller
The fiber laser system is air-cooled, so there’s no external chiller to buy, plumb, or maintain.

FAQs
Do I need special training to use a laser welder?
No. The MA1 is built to be easy to learn — a 7″ touchscreen and built-in presets get most operators producing clean welds quickly, whether or not they have welding experience. Call us and we’ll walk you through it.
Does the MA1 need an external chiller or special hookups?
No external chiller — the fiber laser is air-cooled. We’ll go over power requirements for your shop when you call.
Is laser welding safe? What protection do I need?
Yes, when operated correctly. You’ll want proper laser safety glasses, and we recommend gloves, long sleeves, and work boots. Many shops use laser safety curtains or a dedicated space. We stock the safety gear and can advise on a setup that fits your shop and local requirements.
